What connectnpo.com collects, why, who else touches it, and how to have it corrected or deleted. Written to be read, not to be scrolled past.
connectNPO is a business name of Daybooks Web Solutions, LLC, a California limited liability company based in Los Angeles, California. In this policy "connectNPO", "we" and "us" mean that company. GivingArc is another business name of the same company.
For anything about this policy or your information, write to [email protected].
This policy covers connectnpo.com and the sample websites we publish on its subdomains (addresses ending in .connectnpo.com), and the emails you exchange with us.
It does not cover nporesources.com, which we also run and which has its own notices, or givingarc.com. It also does not cover the websites we build for clients: those belong to the client, and the client's own privacy policy applies to their visitors.
When you use the contact form or one of the two application forms on the Pricing page, we receive what you type: your name, your organization, your email address, a phone number, your website address, and your message. The application forms also ask about the organization itself, for example its EIN, who controls its domain, which donation processor it uses, the programs it runs and who prepares its financial statements.
When you email us, we receive your address and whatever you write or attach.
The sample sites show invented organizations. Their enrolment, sign-up, referral and giving forms are demonstrations: they send nothing and store nothing, whatever you type into them.
If you press "Open the staff preview", the sample site signs your browser in to a read-only demonstration account. That sets a sign-in cookie which expires after about two hours or when you leave the preview. Nothing you change there is saved.
We do not use your information for advertising, we do not build profiles, and we do not add you to a mailing list because you filled in a form.
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
Write to [email protected] from the address the request is about. We answer within 30 days, we do not charge for it, and we will not treat you differently for asking.
California residents: the rights above include those in the California Consumer Privacy Act. We do not sell or share personal information as that law defines those words.
Visitors in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, Canada or Australia: we handle your information because you asked us to do something (answer an inquiry, prepare a proposal), because we have a legitimate interest in running and securing our website, or because the law requires it. Our company and the services listed above are in the United States, so your information is processed there. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
This website is written for people who run nonprofits. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, write to us and we will delete it.
The website is served over an encrypted connection, access to its administration is limited to us, and form submissions are kept in the website's database and our email rather than in shared documents. No system is perfectly secure; if something happens that affects your information, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
When we build or run a website for a nonprofit, we may handle information about that nonprofit's own donors, families or volunteers. We do that only on the client's instructions and under our written agreement with them. That information belongs to the client; questions about it should go to the organization concerned.
Our pages link to other websites, including official sources we cite. Their privacy practices are their own.
If we change how we handle information, we will change this page and the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will say so on the website. This version is dated 17 September 2026.
