How much does a nonprofit website cost?
A nonprofit website from connectNPO costs $180 a month plus a one-time $1,000 build fee, which is due only after you approve the finished site. That is $3,160 in the first year and $2,160 a year after that. There are no tiers, no setup fees, no add-ons and no software licences to buy.

Two things change the price, and only these two: a site over forty pages, and a tool built for your organization alone. Both are quoted in writing before anything starts. Hosting, the domain, design, writing, the staff tools, publishing your Form 990 and every change you ask for are in the monthly fee.
So you pay the build fee after you have seen your site, not before.

Your site goes up on a private address first. You read every page. The build fee is due only when you approve it. If you do not approve it, you owe nothing.

We publish. Your accountant prepares and confirms. connectNPO does not provide legal, tax, accounting, or Form 990 advice.

Sending the form tells us we may read your current website and use what you send us to prepare your proposal and your site. It commits you to nothing.

More than 40 pages
The plan covers a site of up to 40 pages, written new or moved from the site you have. For a larger site the reply states the price before you decide anything.
A tool only you would use
Tools that other organizations like yours can also use are part of the plan. A one-off gets a written quote first, or an honest no.
Never: how many changes you ask for
Changes are the service. There is no meter on them and no hourly bill.
Never: how many people edit
Every staff member who needs the staff side gets a login. Seats are not counted.

A call is available and never required. Everything here is also in the reply.
Why is the price this low?
Because building a site costs us far less than it costs an agency, and because we are new. We would rather earn the monthly fee for years than charge a large fee once. The monthly fee is where the work is: every change, the yearly update, the hosting.
Is there a higher plan, or paid add-ons?
No. There is one plan, and everything listed on this page is in it for every organization. Two things can change the price, and both are stated in the reply before you decide: a site larger than 40 pages, and a tool only your organization would use.
Do we really pay nothing until we approve the site?
Yes. The site goes up on a private address, you read every page, and the build fee is due when you approve it. There is nothing to sign first: paying is how you approve the site and accept the agreement. The monthly fee starts at launch. If you do not approve the site, you owe nothing.
Is the Form 990 really included in the plan?
Yes. It is the standard, not a tier. Form 990, the determination letter and the financial statements are published for you, and refreshed every year when the new 990 is filed.
What are the five videos?
Up to five one-minute videos a year, for your site and your social media: the story in your new Form 990, a program, a call for volunteers, an event, year-end giving, or whatever you need most. We make them only from the photos and clips you send us and the facts on your site and in your filing. No AI-generated scenes or people, and no stock footage. Can you move the site we have now?
Yes, and it is included up to 40 pages. With your permission we read the pages, posts and images from your current site, rebuild them in the new design, keep your old addresses working, and switch the domain when you approve. Donation tools and mailing lists stay with the accounts you already own.
What happens after I send the form?
A confirmation at once. Within one business day, a written reply: what we would build, what we still need, and which sample site shows each part. You decide from that page, or ask questions in writing.
Our site is fine. Can you only publish our Form 990 on it?
Often, yes. It is one page, so it is not a plan of its own. Write to us on the contact page with the address of your site, and the reply says whether we can work on it and what the page and its yearly update cost.
Who looks after our domain?
We do, so that no change to your website or your email needs you to log in anywhere. Your domain stays registered in your organization name, in an account we manage for you, and we pay the yearly renewal up to twenty five dollars. A few names cost more than that; if yours is one we tell you the price first. Prefer to keep your domain where it is? Then you change two settings once at your registrar, keep paying them, and we run everything else. Either way you can move it to any account you name, at any time, and we do it within five business days at no charge.
What if we leave?
Cancel any month. The domain is always yours. After twelve monthly payments the site, its design and everything on it leave with you at no charge. Earlier than that, you can take the site by paying the months left up to twelve. The words on every page are edited in WordPress by your staff, and the layout is ordinary code that any WordPress developer can change. There is no paid tool to keep paying for.
Do you need a call to give a price?
No. The prices are on this page. A call is available and never required.
Do you write grants?
No. We build the site a funder checks before they answer your application. The application is yours.
