Copper Ridge Animal RescueA sample animal-rescue website. The organization is invented.
A foster-based dog and cat rescue in a former feed store in a Colorado town: 85 foster homes, three staff, 571 adoptions last year, a budget of about $580,000. The site is drawn as a field guide: every animal is a numbered entry with a plate, described honestly.
- KindFoster-based dog and cat rescue with a small adoption center
- BudgetAbout $580,000; income $584,000 in 2025
- Staff3 and a part-timer, 85 foster homes, about 140 volunteers
- Pages6, the animals and the foster board staff-editable
- Look"The field guide": cream, sage and ink, numbered entries with a plate and an italic sub-line
- Real? No. Every animal, person, number and document is invented and labelled; no person is pictured

One name, one look, one voice.
Every sample has its own brand, set once and used the same way on every page, from the home page to the financials. It is the same work we do for your organization.
- A name and a wordmark, set in one display type
- Four or five colours, each with one job
- One type for reading, chosen for the people the site serves
- One line that says what the organization does, used in search, listings and the share preview

Six things to press, in order.
Each one is a working feature, and each one is an example of what we build. Nothing you do on the site is recorded.
Animals that are never stale
Every animal is a record with a status: available, pending, foster only, adopted. Pending shows as pending instead of an "is she still there?" email, and an adopted animal leaves the page by itself two weeks after its date.

An application pre-filled from the animal
Press Apply on an entry and the form arrives with that animal named. It checks the household against the entry's own needs (cats, small children, a yard) and says what happens next. Demo mode: it validates and sends nothing.

The foster board
This week's needs on one staff sheet: a litter, a medical hold, two shy cats. What the rescue always supplies is on every line, and Colorado's eight-animal foster rule is stated with its source.

Adoption days with shifts
Each event has handler, greeter and setup places; a full shift stays listed as full and a past event vanishes. The home page shows the next one.

What a gift covers
$50 is one animal's vaccines; $917 is one animal's whole stay, computed from the year's cost per animal. No processor, on purpose.

Financials with the licence
Three 990s, the review, the letter, the PACFA licence number and the county transfer contract in one paragraph; the live-release rate with the method it was counted by.

The button below signs you in to the real staff area as sample staff. You see what the organization's staff would see: one menu, a tile per tool, and the checks.
- 01Tiles for Animals, Foster board, Events, Volunteer shifts, Numbers, Financial documents, Year-end
- 02Checks: no available animal, an animal pending more than two weeks, a foster need open more than a week, an event within a week with empty shifts
- 03Status is a field on the animal; the list, the count on the home page and the schema all read it
- 04Press Update on anything and the screen says "Nothing was saved"

Hazel’s minute.
A sample of the one-minute videos in the plan: one animal, what the money pays for, and what the year added up to, told from the rescue’s own numbers.
- 1You send the photos and clips you already have, and a line or two on what the video is for: year-end giving, volunteers, an event, the story in your 990.
- 2We write a one-minute script from what is on your site and in your filing, and send it for your yes.
- 3We make it within one week of getting your material: about a minute, wide and vertical, captions burnt in, and a text version for your site.
Up to five a year are in the plan, at no extra charge. The first five nonprofits can have one free: see the offer →
Copper Ridge is invented, so it has no photos of its own. This sample uses AI clips of its rooms and animals and free stock footage where a real organization’s photos would go. For your organization we use only the photos and clips you send.
Read the script instead (about one minute)
This is Hazel. She came to Copper Ridge Animal Rescue on the 28th of August, recovering from surgery on a back leg.
Copper Ridge is an old feed store on Mill Street. Three staff, one part-timer, and 85 foster homes. Last year, 612 animals came through its doors.
First stop: the vet. Vaccines, a microchip, and for Hazel, surgery. The average animal costs about $917, and one surgery can cost more than that on its own.
Next, Hazel needs a foster home. Three quiet weeks: no stairs, no jumping. The rescue sends her medication, a crate, food, and a ride to her follow-up visits if needed. Once she is listed, her foster family gets the first chance to keep her.
Last year, 571 animals were adopted. Hazel is still waiting for her foster home. Foster, adopt, or give monthly, so the vet can say yes to the next surgery without a phone call first.
Sample video. Copper Ridge Animal Rescue is invented and every figure is a sample. Stock footage (Pexels) stands in for the rescue’s own clips; the clips of Hazel, the feed store, its rooms and porch, and some of its animals are AI-generated. No one’s face is shown. The narration is a synthetic voice and the music is AI-generated. Made by connectNPO.
